Shadrack Ash
I moved to the Caye Caulker from southern Belize about 25 years ago.
I just love the Sea! and that is the reason why I'm in this
profession today. I have learned a lot about the Sea and it's conditions over the past 15 years; my first step into this profession was diving, I started out as an Open Water diver guiding dives and gradually moved on to getting my Dive Master certification, a couple of years after, the opportunity of being a Tour Guide presented itself so I went for it and became a second level certified tour guide, my love for the sea life took me a bit farther into fishing, when hanging out with my in-laws I came to learn how to fish for lobster the way the old fishermen
traditionally did it.
Hanging out with some guest who were Fly fisher men caught my attention so I just had to have that certification as well!.
Becoming my own boss was my next step, so! here I am, now a licensed tour operator; I consider myself a well experience person to conduct tours with professionalism seeing that I started out in the front line of Tourism on Caye Caulker.
"Ash" I'm co-owner of French Angel Expedition along side my wife Heni. I'm a
licensed tour guide, fishing guide, boat captain and PADI Dive Master.
I would be more that happy to take you out on a marine tour of your choice if given the chance to, so don't waste anymore time hunting just book your tour with a naturalize born Belizean.
Eujenia Heredia - (Heni)
I was born and raised on Caye Caulker, I am 100 % Hicaqueno!, My ancestors were among the first seven families that
settled here on the Caye Caulker, I've seen my home moved from a population of five hundred to now over two thousand people.
I LOVE the sea! It's a beautiful and different world down there; growing up I enjoyed swimming and every moment I got to go out with my dad on his boat; My dad's a
fisherman from the age of 12 and I learnt a lot about the sea from him.
As an adult working in the different area of tourism I started to miss the sea so when the opportunity of being a tour guide came along, I did not hesitate to get certified as a Tour Guide, It was great being out in the sea again, it's so quiet and peaceful under the sea, a beautiful world down there, I was happy to be in my new Office! under the sea.
After 10 years of guiding we decided to become our own bosses and went for it, so now I enjoy
working alongside Ash to make French Angel shine.
"Heni" I'm co-owner of French Angel Expedition, along side my husband Ash. I'm a license tour guide and boat captain.
It would be my honer to share my office with you given the opportunity to.
"mi casa es tu casa! just don't burn down my kitchen!" :)
